A Family Commitment to Pacific Agriculture
How It Started
Venture Exports began more than 35 years ago with a clear purpose, to ensure Pacific growers have reliable access to quality agricultural products at the best possible price. Our founder, David Browne, grew up in Fiji and spent his school holidays on his family’s coconut plantation, an experience that shaped his deep respect for Pacific agriculture and the communities whose livelihoods depend on it.
After studying agriculture and working across Fiji, New Zealand, and the wider Pacific, David recognised a recurring gap in the market. Farmers needed safe, effective and trusted products in pack sizes and price points suited to island farming. Yet for many multinational suppliers the Pacific Islands were not a commercially practical market to service, leaving local farmers with limited access to appropriately sized and priced products.
Venture Exports was created to bridge this gap, to provide dependable, fit for purpose agricultural products backed by people who understand the realities of farming across the Pacific and who are committed to supporting it.
Products developed by Venture Exports have been instrumental in transforming agriculture across the pacific, supporting growers to move from subsistence farming to sustainable, commercial production.

Growing With The Pacific
Over the decades, Venture has grown side by side with the Pacific agricultural community.As farming needs evolved, so did we, expanding our product range, strengthening packaging and freight systems and partnering with suppliers who understand Pacific farming. Many of the relationships formed in the early years remain with us today, a reflection of the trust built through reliability and shared commitment.
As the business developed, leadership passed naturally from David to his son, Chris, ensuring that Venture continued as a family-driven company guided by the same values andsense of responsibility that established it..

Today, our focus is on steady, meaningful progress. We’re committed to supporting growers and distributors with reliable access to quality products and practical guidance on safe and effective use. While agriculture continues to change, our role remains the same, to stand alongside Pacific growers with consistency, respect and pride.
